COMPOSITION

Each 16oz /120ml  INFLA-PROTECT ^™ contains AGATHOS-ACTIVE^™ (Buchu Oil Extract), Aqua, Glycereth-28, Carboner, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

It has been shown that INFLA-PROTECT^™ has anti-inflammatory activity.

AGATHOS-ACTIVE^™

Approved by the FDA and EU, this Buchu oil leaf extract contains Quercetin, a potent anti-inflammatory compound with known activities against the Th 17 cells (inhibition of such cells). It also contains other molecules which are able to inhibit the migration of inflammatory cells from the circulation to areas of tissue damage. The expression of the CD11/C18 heterodimer on the inflammatory cells such as neutrophils and monocytes is not unregulated when such cells are activated in the presence of the oil extract. Monocytes are the source of inflammatory cytokines such as IL6 and TNF-a. In-vitro research has shown that the secretion of these pro-inflammatory factors is inhibited at the generic level. Specifically effective in the use of acute and chronic inflammation.

As INFLA-ACTIVE^™ is a natural preservative-free formulation, there are NO side effects or harmful compounds.

INDICATIONS

INFLA-PROTECT^™ is recommended for use in all horses including mares, stallions and foals to assist in the prevention of EIPH and reducing upper and lower respiratory inflammation.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For best results use INFLA-PROTECT^™ TOPICAL GEL before and after a morning workout as a muscle damage preventative. Rub on twice daily to the affected area or more as required. Can be bandaged over.

For horses up to +-600kg or +-1,320lbs body mass, including mares, stallions and foals.
